MS-DOS Shell source code?

Hello before some years I downloaded MS-DOS Shell source code from Vetusware.It was written by someone company for Microsoft and re-released as free open source by that company.There was notice that no support by them or by Microsoft.My system halted and I lost source code.So if you can help about it

Do you really want the MS-DOS source code? Well, too bad. And if Vetusware did have this up for grabs, then I'm surprised they've not been in serious trouble over it.

If I recall, some MSDos 6 source code was circulating around the nets some time ago.
Don't know if it has the dos shell you're referring to.
