IBM 3010 Emulator
Hi there
I was confused by this item https://winworldpc.com/product/ibm-3010-emulator "IBM 3010 Emulator". I had never ever heard of IBM 3010. I went looking for info on IBM 3010 and couldn't find any. Then I downloaded it, and realised the name is wrong - it's actual name is "IBM PERSONAL COMPUTER TERMINAL SUPPORT (I3101)". It is an IBM 3101 emulator, not an emulator for the non-existent IBM 3010. IBM 3101 is a well-known series of ASCII IBM terminals. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_3101
Actually the I3101.NOT file contained in the floppy disk image has an extensive description. Possibly some of the details there could be copied to the description page in the database.
Interestingly, this appears to be IBM internal use only software, it was never publicly distributed. (I doubt IBM cares that much about it any more tho, I am pretty no one at IBM would be using PC-DOS machines to access mainframes any more.)
