There is an interesting article on SoylentNews about getting Xenix 386 2.2.3c running. Apparently the archived disk sets have some damage, and there are some wacky bugs that prevent it from running on newer systems.

But it will probably be an upcoming part 3 that details what changes/fixes they made to the images.
The source teledisk files are full of errors that have been carried over to the IMG copy here.
I wish we had more people here that tried out old stuff besides Windows.
I gave up on the old stuff 20 years ago.
Had a corner of a warehouse filled with minis and boxes & boxes of 8" disks, plus big metal platters. They are all recycled into smart phones by now I expect.
But there are still more details to come. And another similar XENIX version has cropped up on archive.org - The one they are working with is for a generic 386 PC, whereas the new one that cropped up is specifically for an MCA based IBM PS/2.
