Doubts about - MS-DOS 5.00
Hello,
On my Commodore PC 20-III I have MS-DOS 5.00, but I have two problems:
It doesn't have Scandisk aplication, and it doesn't accept "move" function.
I tried to copy scandisk from MS-DOS 6.22, but it doesn't run on 5.00, there are some Scandisk for 5.00 version?
My MS-DOS doesn't accept MOVE funcion, to move files between directories. Do you have some idea of what's happening, or there are another command to this function?
Thanks in advance

In MS-Dos 5, you have checkdisk(chkdsk).
Before asking the question, I recommend you seek about SCANDISK on google.
Also you should run SCANDISK of MS-DOS 6.22 on same DOS version, not on different version.
@yourepicfailure
Scandisk was introduced from MS-DOS 6.2
Meh, close enough in this context.
Either way,

Here's some suggested reading:

The "move" command does not exist in DOS 5.
Did you try SETVER?
*Microsoft SCANDISK version 6.21 requires DOS 6.0 or higher.
*Microsoft SCANDISK version 6.22 requires DOS 6.0 or higher.
