  • Could you be a little more specific? I assume you were trying to install Windows 2000 Pro? Which download?

Hadn't noticed that entry before. I wasn't aware any service packs changed the keys. There could be some mix and matched OEM images in there or something.

Well, that is Not related with H/W issue,

I recommend to ask the problem on Software forum.

Also your question is very insufficient to answer.

    Windows 2000 Professional SP1

Which license types you use Windows 2000 Pro with SP1?

FPP : Full Package Product (Retail Full version)
OEM : Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM Full version)
CCP : Compliance Checking Program (Retail Upgrade version)

They're different range of product keys not compatible with each other.

I found out that it is FPP

If you're running Windows 2000 Pro (Retail Full), you can search product key for Pro Retail by Google search.
