CheckIt 1.10a tests RAM with only 256K
While testing the copy of CheckIt 1.10a contributed by IBMPC5150, https://winworldpc.com/product/checkit-pro/1x I noticed that this version supports burn-in memory tests with only the need for 256k installed. This was with DOS 2.0, and some later DOS versions may take up too much memory.
I'm mentioning this because it is a common request over that the Vintage Computing forum. Some early system motherboards are only expandable to 256k, and it is usually preferable to test without additional RAM cards installed.
The very first model of 5150 only supported 64K maximum on the motherboard, and the PCjr plus some clones only supported 128k on-board, so this does not help these.

So 256KB RAM is required to run the program correctly.
