I ran windows 95 setup in windows 98 and

it actually downgraded, however windows will not start. Does anyone know a fix?

    I know this is somewhat of a lost cause now, but what happens when you boot the computer up? Does it fail to detect a bootable drive, or does Windows give an error while booting?

    It said several files are damaged then said something about memory despite my vm having 512 mb of ram.
