  • Steam, maybe? They have a selection of games that will run on macOS.

macOS comes bundled with Chess as well, if you fancy that type of thing...
  • It depends. What type of games? Modern games? Older games?
  • @OP: What version of macOS are you trying to play on? Sierra, perhaps?
  • Yes i am running macOS sierra. it's 10.12.5. I looking for free games site for mac. I find them for windows just fine. The few i do fine for mac they want you to pay for the games or they are just demos.
  • The issue is that software devs know that most people use Windows and therefore that the software will reach most people.
    Yes, it sucks, I know.

You can use Wineskin to emulate the Windows application environment.

Or just plain old WINE. This site includes a download for Wine.app, a GUI macOS version of WINE. I currently use it and it is very good. http://winebottler.kronenberg.org

You could even run Windows in a VM, but it would be horrendously slow for anything more than the basic solitaire game.

Or you can just install windows on a different partition.

  • Steam. Without a doubt.

  • Many of the games on gog.com are also available for Mac. They are not free, but many are quite cheap.
