Keep in mind that an IMA file is in the same format as an IMG file. You will need to change the IMA file's extension to IMG to open it in Virtual Floppy Drive for Windows.
macOS will open IMA/IMG files natively (after you change the extension to IMG), but it will also put its own dotfiles (.fseventsd, .DS_Store, etc.) on the image thereby ruining it.
