PC Card Sound Boards?
I have a Compaq Contura 410C which doesn't have an internal sound card, and I'm looking for an expansion PC Card which can provide this capability. I do know that PCMCIA Sound Cards are of lower quality than internal boards, but what I don't know is where to find such cards to enable sound for this laptop.
According to this page, the Contura 400 models support this. And I've found two potential CDROM packages, although I don't know anything else about them.

Anyone here knows about these packages, and if these are indeed what can I use for my Contura 400? Are these the PCMCIA cards I need which can provide sound to my laptop?
Thanks in advance.

Those two are only CDROM with a PCMCIA interface, they won't give you any sound.

You can find cards (with some luck) on Ebay and Yahoo auctions, such as this one https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p569414232 which will give you the best possible MIDI music quality in DOS and Windows 3.x/9x.
