The Mavica is in
A few days ago, I bought a Sony Digital Mavica FD73,
it just came in today:
^ This last image, is of the Acer Acros, this was taken with the Mavica as a test photo.
It's in good condition, just needs a little goo-gone, and the lens and lcd screen need to be cleaned, but overall very good condition.
Speaking of cleaning lenses and LCD screens, can someone recommend what to use, so that I don't accidentally damage something?

I literally just finished watching Techmoan's video on this thing. Pretty good image quality for an 80's era digital camera.
It was made in 97, but either way pretty neat. I was a kid back then and would always think how cool this stuff was when I seen other other people with it. I'm so glad we moved so far away from that kind of technology though.
For cleaning the lenses, try a lens wipe (you should have some if you wear glasses). If it's glass, I wouldn't be too picky with cleaner.
For the LCD, use a non-abrasive lint free cloth. Like your lens wipe or a microfiber. You can buy LCD cleaner pretty much anywhere.
Both of you are wrong. The FD73 is 1999 digital camera. Two years is significant in digital camera life.
For lens, I use a soft cloth with a little distilled water mixed with some rubbing alcohol. Then I use another to dry it. This ensures a mostly streak-free clean. Though for that compact lens, use a cotton swab. Be careful not to use too much solution with those compact lens, you risk ruining the grease for the zoom and focus mechanism if it drips out. For the LCD screen, typical screen cleaner would do. The lens are glass, as with most other camera lens. Plastic is difficult to ensure sharpness and minimized chromatic aberration.
The jpeg compression is horrid for that 640x480 image.
How much did you spend on that thing?
I had the chance to buy one of these with a battery, 10 disks, reader, charger, ect. for
$10. I WAS AN IDIOT AND DECIDED TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK AND BEHOLD, IT WAS SOLD RIGHT AFTER I LEFT THE STORE!
And yes, clean the lens, mess with settings until the noise has cleared up, ect.
Listen to yourepicfailure, s/he is very well trained with this sort of stuff.
Oh, and HOW THE F DID SOMEONE THINK THIS WAS 80s?!?!?
I don't know my computer hates youtube.
