User signatures

I remember on the old forum that users could have signatures. With the transition, they have disappeared. Has the ability to have signatures been removed, or am I missing something?

I noticed this myself, and I had looked everywhere to see if they can be added here but I guess not. A shame, really.
They could, I just don't see the point of clutter.
Other people do.
It is quite disappointing.
Even a few characters for it wouldn't be "clutter".
