Mac OS 9.2.1 installation compatibility
Hello, I'm gonna get a PowerMac G4 400 AGP soon and was looking for a copy of Mac OS 9.2, and stumbled upon this one in the library. (https://winworldpc.com/download/3dc3a37f-6518-c39a-11c3-a4e284a2c3a5)
Does it work with any PowerMac? And if yes, do I need a Mac to burn it? And also, can I upgrade it to 9.2.2 if I find the update files?

According to the Everymac site, 9.2.1 and 9.2.2 should run on that machine. So if we have not accidentally mislabeled it, that download should be a generic retail version and should install.
You should be able to use any machine with a CD burner to write the CD.
Note that I have been told that the downloads marked as "HD Images" may not boot on a real Macintosh although they may boot on emulators.
