I hate Red Hat

Red Hat is a GNU/Linux company that is very close to the NSA, and might have backdoors in their RHEL distribution. I do not trust them, and the many awful products they put out. For a decent GNU/Linux distro, I would use Debian. systemd has serious security issues, and I recommend a distro that lets you use other init systems. Oh yeah, and mono is the absolute worst. Hopefully Red Hat loses influence over other distros...

  • it's a systemd rant

    cool story bro

  • You do know systemd is default in Debian since Jessie, right? Devuan would be a better choice if you want to avoid systemd.

I use Devuan, but Debian still lets you use other init systems, unlike RHEL.

  • I...
Am actually a bit lost, being an OS/2 geek.
Ah well, I had my chance I suppose...

  • what is the point of this rant
  • If it's a personal rant, then this thread clearly isn't going anywhere... to me it should've been best suited in a blog or something, not on a public forum. Just saying.
