downloaded the following image:
OS 8 and OS 8.1
The resulting .img isn't recognized by OS X, OS 9, nor Toast. What am I supposed to do with it then?

download "Apple Mac OS 8.1 [French].7z" -> with 7z program -> I got "F693-1589.img" file

Why?
The English version contains a normal ISO.
