Active Desktop on NT4?

edited July 2018 in Software

Hey guys, I remember a few years ago being able to install Active desktop on Windows NT 4..just recently i got the installer and tried again with a new copy on nt4 on a vmware vm (with vmtools) and lo and behold..the installer said it couldnt download the required files..

im assuming microsoft pulled the files from their server since my internet connection in nt4 works just fine..
Anybody know where I could find a offline install for active desktop?

  • no matter which installer i use i cant get this active desktop to download, frustrating as hell

  • You tried the installers here on WinWorld? Somewhere I have a copy of the full installer. I might be able to upload it if needed.

  • You can also try the installers included in the Windows 95 OSR 2.5 CDs
