    an image.
    Adobe dimensions from 1997!

  • This flew under the radar. I couldn't find any information about it, just the unrelated Dimension CC product that was introduced about two years ago.

Though I'd guess they're both 3D modelling software, and I won't have to worry about renting it or having it not work on Windows 95.

    Here you go: https://www.google.com/search?client=falkon&ei=aIBkXLewB62QmwXc37ygAg&q=adobe+"dimensions"+3.0&oq=adobe+"dimensions"+3.0&gs_l=psy-ab.3.0.0i203j0i22i30l7.11197.13634..13871...1.0..0.113.544.0j5......0....1..gws-wiz.......0j0i20i263j0i22i10i30.MmSDxaX1E5A
    :)
Just make sure to have " " around dimensions, so that it is not changing the keyword to dimension and add the version number.

    Thanks.

Most are just semi-shady download links but this one has the system requirements if anyone's interested:
    https://www.cnet.com/products/adobe-dimensions-3-0-for-windows/

And here are the first two versions for Mac OS:
    https://www.macintoshrepository.org/9799-adobe-dimensions-1-0-ne-

    https://www.macintoshrepository.org/164-adobe-dimensions-2-0

3.0 seems to be the last version

  • Comparing it to later 3d-software is crazy. 16MB ram required, of which Win95 definitely will eat 8MB or more.
Sure, it will be slow as hell when swapping to disk all the time, but what else (later) 3d-stuff is happy with 16mb?

  • ok, the program might not be very good for today's standards, but i like the program i bought! and a lot!

the reason i bought this is because i just couldn't find a download that was for windows and was trust worthy! ;)

Actually, it might be. A few years ago we were using some '90s relic ported to OS X at my high school to learn basic CAD.

Even Photoshop 5.5/PSP 7 can do a lot of good stuff and can coexist with Dimensions on Windows 95.

  • it's obviously for windows, if it wasn't i would just get it at the macintosh repository

  • Cool! i may install it on my XP PC

Completely not apart of it but,

    i like ¨no mercy¨

Just FYI, when adding new information to a thread within an hour or so of posting, please use the "edit" function rather than adding new posts. Yea, the edit option is hidden under a "gear" menu that only appears when you mouse over a post. The user interface on this forum sucks.

  • Never knew this existed! I have no idea how to use it, but at least I have it now! LOL

You can install it on modern windows you know...

    I use PS7

  • I wouldn't be so sure about it working on newer versions of Windows. Premiere Pro 2.0 doesn't run on Windows 10 1803 even with compatibility mode. XP should be fine though

i have never tried it on windows 95, but it works on windows 10, i tried it

  • if you wanna use the iso on 64 bit, then you can use winevdm https://github.com/otya128/winevdm/releases

You can't delete comments, but as SomeGuy said you can edit existing ones made in the past 4 hours to add new information.

Lots of 32-bit win9x/2k/XP software works quite well on Windows 10, but again there are a few here and there that Vista/7/10 broke, like the aforementioned Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. I'm aware of a Steam game that saw its rating plunge after 1803 broke it.

but still, dimensions works perfectly on windows 10, how do i edit posts older than 1 hour?

  • I've cleaned up your spam, but in the future avoid making short posts in the first place.
You can edit posts for an hour or so after posting them to add new information. On forums, adding more posts in rapid succession is considered SPAMMING.

If you want to make posts of less than 140 characters then go stand in the middle of a road staring at your cell phone posting on Twatter.

  • Thanks for this proggy, I did not know it had such an ancient version :-)

  • I want this thread deleted. Not just locked, but deleted, please, mods, please

  • Why should it? Is it because you were bothered by SomeGuy's response, which was from a year ago?

Well, seeing that a year has passed, I wonder if this little gem has been added to the library yet.

  • No, because I have realized sharing this is bad behavior.

  • Why is sharing abandonware "bad behavior"? This is what this community's for :/

  • Because even if it's abandoned, it's still piracy.

  • So? Companies don't usually care for decades-old products and the main purpose of this site is to preserve it. If it was Office 2000 or newer, then that's a different story altogether.

  • Adobe knows very well that there is no money to be made in Windows 95 nowadays. Lots of cool software was released in DOS/win16/9x era that doesn't work as well in NT and I've got an 80 GB HDD so gimme gimme gimme!!!
