  • Wikipedia did article on Microsoft Sort is a programmable sorting and merging utility in release 1982. It was sold in two versions - as a standalone utility and as a version hosted in Microsoft COBOL.

  • Wikipedia did article on Microsoft Sort not on Microsoft COBOL. Microsoft Sort came from Microsoft COBOL. Microsoft COBOL was popular program in 1980's. I do not know how Wikipedia left out Microsoft COBOL.

    Microsoft COBOL 2.1 have Microsoft Multiplan style menus used command ViewCob. Microsoft COBOL is only of Microsoft Languages used Multiplan style menus. There is Ad of Microsoft COBOL 2.1 under Microsoft Languages on PC Mag.
