Activity tracking software centered on running, released by Micro Education Corporation of America in 1984 for the IBM PC. Seven years earlier, Fixx had published the No. 1 selling The Complete Book of Running which popularized jogging and helped jumpstart the first running boom in the United States. Sadly, a few months after the release of The Running Program, Fixx died of a heart attack while on a routine jog (he was genetically predisposed to heart problems). This is the first time this software has been uploaded to the Internet, so like the manual states, be careful and enjoy.

  • Thanks very much for nice rare program.
  • wow long time no see !
  • I am looking to buy the Running Program. I worked at MECA when it was produced. He died, of course, so the program was not released that I know of. My father was the founder of MECA and a programmer on the software.
