T-Mobile Users Prohibited From Downloading

Hello.

I have been meaning to get a grasp on why, it seems, people cannot download anything on the website with T-Mobile devices. It seems to me it results from IP addresses changing every time you change to a different web page, similar to that of Wikipedia, where many T-Mobile users are banned due to IP address abuse on their wikis. On here, I usually get the dreaded "Failed to download... possibly from invalid ID" message.

Funnily enough, on T-Mobile Home Internet, it works just fine, but if I use a mobile hotspot with a SIM or eSIM card with the standard phone line plan, or if I use my smartphone, it doesn't work. And yes, I've tried Opera, I've tried NordVPN and ExpressVPN, but that didn't make a difference.

Apparently, I cannot keep my IP stable through all the settings on my phone or my mobile hotspot, which leaves me to make this post.

Is there anything you (the staff) can do to allow for T-Mobile users to utilize your website, and can anyone (the community) help try to troubleshoot the problem?

Thanks!

  • We don't block any specific carrier or service, as far as I know. If you have not already done so, go to this test page and test your IP address:

If the IP address that the download server sees is different from what the main site sees, then there is a major problem with your Internet Service Provider or VPN software. Please contact them and have them rectify the problem.

The IP address must match. This is part of our anti-leaching system.

Changing IP addresses between accesses should cause major problems with other sites as well.

That's fair. I did check and they are different. I talked to my ISP and they said they can't do anything about it. What woes.
It doesn't cause any problems with any other website I can think of except this one
