AI scrapers are making human-checking like this more common and more necessary. I run a small wiki for a game in development, and the AI scrapers pretty much brought it to it's knees. I don't have the resources to set up load balancing and scale to that level, so I had to turn on the human-checking crap. The Internet really is a shadow of it's former self.
Sigh. Cloudflair is back to blocking me and oddball browsers as a bot again. After checking the box to continue, it just reloads the verification page.
