Mental said that he uses it alot, but I've never had ANYTHING to do with it. Is it just a NL/EUR phenonemon, or is it more universal and I'm just in the past?

Set it up as Rx device, and be sure you choose the right Ir port, and the port speed must be 115.2kbit (or something like that)

Kind of reminds me of the time where I had to test Universal Electronics Nevo software with a Pocket PC.

  • ok so how do i compile this thing?
  • compile? i just downloaded the ZIP file, unpacked it, downloaded Winsock for windows 95, and it worked...
  • i got a load of c and h files. and i fucked up MS VS
  • If you want to use remote control you need a COM IrDA. USB IrDa can't be used with a remote control I spent a lot of time to understand it. If you want to use IrDa for transmitting data (for example to connect with a mobile) - it's very slowly - on my Siemens CX65 100Kb copied in 1 minute. It's better to buy a cable.
