What sites do you know about old hardware, about jumper settings on old motherboards??

    Do what I do, if the hardware isn't that old then just go find the manual from the manufacturer.

    A few years ago I had a CD that was full of jumper settings for hardware from 1978 to 1996. I had it on my website but it got lost. I've been trying to find it since.

    Ontrack has Harddrive settings for alot of drives. Its pretty old, but has my IBM 20GB on it.

    I use two no-name SIS 496/497 486motherboards as wall decoration. I only know how to set the clock speed on that board. Or do you need something else?

    turn it on and look at the BIOS serial number that pops up on the bottom of the screen. Then go to www.motherboards.com and match up i think the 6th number and it will tell you what company made it and from there you can seach for the company that made it and you might beable to find out what model it is and such.
