Thanks Roger ! (bounce)
I don't know for sure but I may have messed that up
already. I reckon I just took the stantard what ever
that it puts on there if you don't custom.
I'm looking at this FrontPage. I never did like it but
I'll take another good look. I just don't like how it
scatters the code everywhere.

Do you see Mr. Clippy? If you don't then you've installed everything just fine.
If you do see Mr. Clippy, prepare yourself for some annoyance.
No Roger
I don't see Mr. Clippy so I guess I did that just fine.
Uh, when I was running Office 4.3, it had this little
bar up at the top. I just Programs/Microsoft Office Tools/
Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar. I told it not to turn on when
I booted up and got it up so I could just look at it.
It's straight up and down on the right.
How do I move it?

Edit: Never mind, I got it but I liked the one on
Office 4.3 better.
findfast, the shortcut bar and the assistant are resource hogs.....
Good wrap up. I suspected I didn't want that shortcut
bar all the time.
I hope to get a tutor for a little bit. She called a few
minutes ago but I haven't brought it up yet. I'm not
woke up good yet. She works for Community Health
Center and they use Windows 2000 but she's got 98
at home.
I'm a pretty fast study if I see something done.
Maybe I'll write a letter or something.

Oh Crap
It's Microsoft Bob !
When I started opening up programs it does have an office assistant.
I don't know how to tell if I have findfast.
I guess there's a way to kill Clippy?

Just modify your installation by going to the Add/Remove Programs and make Office Assistant "Unavailable".

I tried that Roger but it's not there.
I made a disk image before I installed Office.
I made another with Office installed. It weighs 216,201KBS.
I put back the original image and will do a new Office
custom install and not let it put them on there.
It's took about 10 minutes so far.

Edit: Done. No FindFast, no assistant, no shortcut bar and
no photo editor for good measure. It's fine now.
Thanks Guys
