    i really don't think this runs on virtualbox, but you could always try an atari 800 pc emulator like atari800 Link: https://atari800.github.io/index.html

    Atari Dos 3 was garbage. It was not backwards computable with Dos 2 or Dos 2.5 which by that time, already had a huge user base. Dos 3 had a conversion program to convert older discs to Dos 3 but not the other way around, so you were stuck. Thankfully Dos 3 did not last long, and Atari went back to shipping Dos 2.5 with later disk drives.
