    For me it worked using setver win.com 3.30

    Except when you also have Win95 on that machine and it happens to be your primary PC. I found that out the hard way.

    ive installed win95 on 6.22 loads of times

    Dont be silly. When you did it, your 6.22 is upgraded to 7.x... automatically.
    When you run the install from DOS 6.22 it doesnt mean your 95 runs on top of 6.22

    oh. I misunderstood, i thought you meant you cant install windows 95 on DOS 6.22 LOL
