Just note that NT4 SP6a is ~38Mb, but it requires @ least 65Mb of space on disk c:\

thats cuz the files in the nt service packed are compressed.

the nt service pack file is like a uncompresser and a big cab or zip in 1 file.

you can open the nt service pack files in winzip or winrar.

What's the difference between NT 3.5 and 3.51?
on 3.51 you can run soft for win95
  • Only early programs though.

I actually own every copy of Windows EXCEPT NT 3.5.

I dont know why....I just felt it wasnt needed when 3.51 was better.
  • No, not only very early progz, it will run also modern TotalCommander v6.03a
  • Well, with SOME newer programs itll run.

But its not just like 95.
  • I think all programs 95 can run, will work in NT 3.51, though you may need some DLLs...
  • Windows NT 3.51 was made to be compatible with soft for win95
it doesn't meen you can run soft for later versions of NT or 9x, but soft for win95 should work except maybe service-progs!
  • That's exactly what I mean.
