it formatted a 120 gb drive in 20 seconds for me. you just should use quick format. otherwise it takes about 15 minutes.
Yeah, I know, that drive is half-dead, so DrakX is the only program which can manage it well.
DrakX is the best for corrupted drives! It can fix badblocks!

I used to use fdisk and the winxp part thing until i found partition magic.

Tom - I suggested cfdisk if he only needs to create/delete/change partitions. I would recommend Partition Magic for stuff like resizing.
