Best Partitioning Program...

...I've been using partition magic for a while, but i want to see what you guyz think is the best partitioning program.

    it was on the Mandrake 9.1 disc, and yes it was DrakX, i just confirmed that as i attempted to install my 3rd distro.

    I don't want to enter this discussion at all.
    I know just that DrakX works always fine for me, and does everything like I want...unlike Whidows Disk manager that formats a 80Gb drive in 30 minutes!

    it formatted a 120 gb drive in 20 seconds for me. you just should use quick format. otherwise it takes about 15 minutes.

    Yeah, I know, that drive is half-dead, so DrakX is the only program which can manage it well.
    DrakX is the best for corrupted drives! It can fix badblocks!

    i always used fdisk its small , and trustworthy - its gotten me thoguht some tough notebook repairs

    SR 6 on Q's server doesn't seem to work.

    Tom - I suggested cfdisk if he only needs to create/delete/change partitions. I would recommend Partition Magic for stuff like resizing.

    worked for my laptop before i threw it at a wall and smashed up the LCD :(
