Yes, my server's K7S5A board has integrated sound, but I've disabled it in the BIOS, along with the serial, parallel, USB, floppy controller, etc.
yes and for a dedicated server unnessesary things liek that should be disabled, but as i said before, to make this clear, its not a dedicated server, infact its not a permentent one either i plan to build a dedicated server later on but for now this will do........ makeing thigns clear as i think i've come to a desion on how i want to structure my network, still a little undecided
Well...a lot of people here run older machines. I haven't found a way in my server's BIOS to disable anything besides serial ports, and perhaps the PCI/ISA board.
