LOL not sold in alaska due to being dangerous
Well I've been reading up on this new cpu and looking at it's benchmarks compared to AMD cpus. It does seem to be a step forward for intel, though if all you care about is gaming then the AMD 64 is better. (Though I play games with my P4 @ 2.8 [I think it would be a 520 on the new model system] and they run just fine, Doom 3 ran just fine at higher quality settings (which scares the hell out of you till you become desensitized to it), and I play UT 2004 constantly with it. Though if I'm aiming for killing sprees and not vivid, semi-realistic (demons...) quality... I drop all settings as low as I can.
I wish they made 64bit Pentium-Ms.
What core is in the Pentium M anyways? I don't know too much about that one other then it's used in mobile computing.
I'd still prefer an AMD over an Intel. Maybe if I did so much video editing that I had a dedicated video editing machine, but I don't see that happening. Most people would probably get a Mac if they were that into it.

It's the generation, not the marketing #.
