  • Pentium II never went to 133MHz. The first Pentium II was 233MHz, first MMX for desktops was 166MHz, and first MMX for laptops was 133MHz.

I got that same keyboard and CD-ROM also. I hate that keyboard. Damn clicky POS.
  • I cant see the pic, if i copy and paste it asks me to log in
  • ahh im not sure on the cpu i was guessing i figured a p2 though since i know it is a pentium of some sort
  • yes i know i hate my host too

My oldest computer, I'm trying to get the WLAN card to work together with the LAN card to create a wireless accespoint, but it doesn't work. I don't have the time to fix it at the moment.
  • I had an IBM Thinkpad 365XD for a while, but it had a fucked up mobo.

It only got so far in the boot up process, but to the drive scanning, and never started the screen up, even on an external monitor, so I scrapped it for parts that I sold on eBay.

I now have an even older laptop, with no hard drive, and a screen with a nice blue rectangle on it.
  • MM, If its an older laptop won't it most likely have a 16bit PCMCIA slot? my laptop had a 32bit one whihc fortunatly worked with my card, that might be your porblem
  • Neat, we have a Thinkpad 750ED- 133MHz and Windows 2000.

The Wireless card and the LAN card are both 16bit 5V cards, so thats not the problem. I think the WLAN cards' driver is bad.

    133 MHz P1

    64 MB RAM
    S3 Trio Integrated Graphix
    40 GB HDD
    Windows 2000 Professional
