Good prices for good hardware?

edited April 2005 in Hardware
I'm going to be getting some new hardware over the next month (hard drive, RAM, DVDRW possibly). I might be getting the RAM on Saturday, so I want to know if these are good prices for good hardware.
All prices are in CAD. Use http://www.xe.com/ to convert if you have to.

RAM:

Samsung 512MB PC3200 400MHz DDR Memory Cas 2.5 (1year)
$55.44

Hard Drive:

Western Digital 160GB 8MB Cache 7200RPM WD1600JB ATA-100 (3year)
$99.99

DVDRW:

NEC ND-3520A 16X Dual Layer Burner Black OEM (1year)
$75.45

  • Yeah...I was considering that actually, since my board does support SATA. The thing is, I have a crappy power supply (I need to get it replaced, it puts out really poor voltages), so I'd have to buy a SATA power adapter too. My choices are either:

    WD 160 GB ATA-100
    or
    WD 80 GB SATA

Since there are no 120 GB SATAs at the local store (I have NO idea why), and a 160 GB SATA is a little too expensive (almost $30 more). Mind you, I'm not sure how slowly or quickly I'd fill 80 GB.
