Dos Programming...

I'd like to be able to program simple dos games and other crap like that. If anyone knows of any good proggies or dos graphics programs then please tell me !

I know of those but i would like ones that have graphics as well and are not as hard as qbasic....

Qbasic is easy, and you could make graphics with it.

Put it this way, everything is made for lamers. Like before FrontPage, people would use a simple texteditor to build their site. You can use notepad to make C++ programs, all you need is just the Compiler.

Q, get QBasic 4.5 and 7.1. There the best 2 versions out there.

4.5 has more crap then 7.1, don't ask me why it just does.

7.1 is a bit buggy when using the sub__ (forgot the rest...) command. It always freezes up with me...

back when i used to program games, i used a program called DIV (i think you can make programs as well as games).

the language is kind of like C, but it has got major differences, and it's not a very popular programming language so you'll probably need the manual (not many support sites i can think of).

it may have a website, if i find it out i'll post it somewhere.

i can make a .zip or .rar of the cd (i dont know how to make ISO images) if you're interested (i think its abw now)

There is NO Delphi for DOS. Because Delphi is an object-oriented language. Windows 3.0 required for it.
