I got a new Acer Aspire 5610z-2328. Specs are
Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel Pentium dual-core processor T2060
1.6 GHZ 533 FSB 1MB L2 Cache
15.4 LCD
Intel Grapics Media Accelerator 950
DVD-Super Multi double layer
1 GB DDR2
802.11b/g wireless LAN
It also has a 1.3 megapizel webcam built in

    i think it meant ultimate. Heck sigx doesent even detect vista. and fish is a pentium m 1.73 really enough to power vista aero properly? Or are there severe laggs. I remember you saying yuour score was 1.0. So i guess not then...

    BTW, aero is GPU not CPU :)

    Yeah I ran Aero off an P3 800 with 512 RAM and a 128 MB Card. Zero lag, until I started running more that 2 programs at a time. But getting back on topic, seems like a OK laptop. Nothing special though.

    yea but you know wht i eman, able to handle aero and all the programs at once.

    Aero is just some alpha blending, that really doesnt take anything at all. Its pretty much video card based, not CPU. And Vista runs FAR better than XP on it.
