Unfounded Removal of Public Image Storage

Fish has deleted Image storage on his own accord. It has nothing to do with me.

He posts a "directory of Images" and I tried to click on one. woooo... exceptionally evil....

His goal is to get people to dislike me for something he did. I'm being used as a scapegoat. He probably didn't want the strain on his server anymore, and used me as a way out.

..yah, I went to the other provided link that said it was for the images and viewed them... I really don't see a problem there. One of them was mine and I wanted to see what it was. There's no gallery or anything like that to check on the files.

Please remember, Image serving was deleted because of Fish, not me.

By the way, I never received any warning as is promised by the Win Boards administration. He just pulled the plug on it and blamed me. I had no idea this was in anyway harmful or that I was negligent in any aspect. If I had been told this wrong, I <b><i>never</b></i> would have done it.

    ONE? You CONSTANTLY try to view them, doesnt the "ACCESS DENIED" error mean ANYTHNIG to you? Sometmes people put somethng there that they dont want everyone to look at, which is why that account was NOT granted read permission, but then you pull the whole "Ill just look at the names, and access them over HTTP!" shit.


    Generally "ACCESS DENIED" means stop fuckng around. You even probe every folder Ive got. I have logs of you trying
    /images
    /forum/mages
    /forum/images/avatars
    /forum/mages/smileys

    IBMWarpster has done it before... ONCE, then he stopped, but I catch you doing it all the time.


    Access denied means access denied.

    Yeah exactly, f theyre so great, use em. I offered something free that was abused. Sometimes one person gets everyone in trouble, this is the case here.

    And FishNET's server strains becuase he uses it very heavily, it has nothing to do with his server, his can kicks your's ass. I bet your connection would be slow too if you actually used it for stuff besides MSN

    I don't want to a mod in here. Ever. Not with this bunch of Communists. And Um... no... 1.8 GHz and 3 GHz would kind of kick his.

    I know I looked in the Smiley folder months ago, back when you reordered them. You could have told me you didn't like my doing that back when that happened.

    1.8GHz Intel basically is a 1.4Ghz AMD.

    and your 3.0GHz is a DEll laptop which overheats. FishNET's 2Ghz cany run Word without overheating.

    Your computer CANNOT overheat from running Seti@home constantly, unless your a dumbass and have removed your CPU fan and heatsink.

    It's a Dell laptop. It's really not Seti-Friendly. It gets to like 160 or so when its runnig Seti.

    if you remove the heatsink and fan, the CPU will fry 10sec after you turn it on. Luckily most PC'
    s shutoff when the temp goes too high. But I dont know if that applys when it doind the POST and memory tests.

    Well, it was a good deal. I felt like I could get the most out of it.

    I really don't think I'm going to buy Dell again. I'll probably never buy another desktop, unless its a Barebones kit or dirt cheap.

    For Pre-owned laptops, the on;y thing I'll ever buy is IBM. Yeah it will be about $200 or so more for a comparable IBM over a Dell, but when I have an IBM P166 laptop still working, it speaks for itself.

    As far as new laptops in 4 years or so, the new Toshibas and HP's look cool... Sony's are too expensive for laptops. There's always Big Blue, too.

    Dells are like $2000.

    You can get an AMD Athlon laptop for about $1200 complete with 512M DDR and 80GB+ HD.

    Not really a brand, some generic thing.

    I still see IBM PS\2 L40's running to this day. (One of IBM's first true laptop, PS\2 386), but does that matter? no. Anything can run for awhile or die after you turn it on.

    But IBM has the <b>best</b> Reliability and least number of major repairs, next to Apples, according to Consumer Reports.

    We know that, thats why a lot of corporates and schools with money use IBM.

    Dells and others just aren't as reliable.

    IBM also has good support services. I'm sure IBM service can speak English, unlike most of Dell's.

    I never said it didn't happen. I looked in a dir that you linked to and looked at the files in it.

    I don't appreciate your threats on my life and those I care about.

    By the way, I never received any warning as is promised by the Win Boards administration. He just pulled the plug on it and blamed me. I had no idea this was in anyway harmful or that I was negligent in any aspect. If I had been told this wrong, I <b><i>never</b></i> would have done it.

    Yup. I'm saying he deleted them on his own accord. He used me as an example of what multiple users had done and to get out of it. That's it.

    I don't deny in any writing that that occured. I viewed images. Correct.

    I'd've given SSH a warning or banned him from the svr, not deleted EVERYONES pics.

    Hes done it several times, each time, he gets an "ACCESS DENIED" message. Access denied is access denied. He made one bad decision too many times.
