    Laptop:
    Windows 7 Ultimate
    Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.0GHz)
    3 GB DDR2 System Memory
320 GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive

GFX: nvidia GeForce 9100 integrated graphics w/ 256MB
MISC: Atheros based WiFi a/b/g/n with external antenna, 10/100 Bast-T NIC
  • At the moment here's what I'm running. It's old and lame.

Gateway 600YGR minus an LCD panel
    Pentium 4 2.0 GHz
    1GB DDR RAM
    60GB 5400RPM HDD
    16x/24x CDRW/DVD drive (don't think it burns)
3.5" floppy drive (both in hot swap bays)
    ATI Mobility 7500 64MB VGA/SVideo/RCA
    Dell 17" Trinitron
    Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse
Sounds is with an oldschool Kenwood amp and some Fisher floor speakers. They sound badass compared to my other options (old DVD surround sound or free speakers that came with my kb/mouse)

My other box is being put together soon, I'm just waiting on a SATA card and I gotta put it all in the case. It's just what I keep all my files on mainly because of it's lack of monitor and and the sound card doesn't work under XP. (I don't think it works at all.)

    Antec Sonata II case
    AMD Athlon XP 2400+
    768MB DDR RAM
    2x 80GB 7200RPM HDD (Maxtor/WD)
    1x 160GB 7200RPM HDD (Maxtor)
    2x 400GB 7200RPM SATA HDDs
    ATI Radon 7200 32MB VGA/SVideo
    Pioneer 16x DVDRW IDE
LG Lightscribe 20x DVDRW (Need to get an eSATA enclosure for my other HDD to hook it up)
  • Well I jumped on the bandwagon and found a proper beatup/server machine.

    lancelot
HP dc5700 small form factor (Intel Q45?)
    Pentium Dual-Core E2160 @ 1.8 GHz
    1GB DDR2-533
    Intel 965(?)
    2x WD Caviar 80GB
    Solaris 10 5/09

For $150 shipped on eBay. Not a bad deal. It's still under the original warranty.
  • Why haven't I seen this thread before...

    Primary computer: Gray Hulk
    OS: WinXP Professional
    Processor: 3.00 ghz Pentium 4
    RAM: 2gb
    HD: 232 gb
    Video: Nvidia 8400 GS @ 512mb

A rig made from spare parts my computer buff friends built for me for my birthday. Works well enough for my purposes; a shame it's so loud...

    Secondary computer: Nex
    OS: Windows 7
    Processor: 1,8ghz Pentium M
    RAM: 1gb
    HD: 80gb
    Video: 128mb Intel shit

The single most reliable piece of electronics I've ever owned. A Gateway tablet laptop I got, like, four years ago. I've inadvertently put this thing through a few ringers, and it's lasted me wonderfully. Since I've gotten an EeePC, though, I've put Nex down and letting him rest. He's had a rough time.

    Tertiary computer: Flank
    OS: Windows XP Home
    Processor: 1.6ghz Atom
    RAM: 2gb
HD: 240 gb (or so; it's partitioned into halves)
    Video: 256mb Intel shit

I really should have waited to get a T91 instead of buying this off my friend. Sure, it's powerful as far as netbooks go, but it just doesn't feel like mine.
