I have a desktop again! (among other things)
So for a while I had my "desktop" (C2D E6550) hooked up to my TV with media center. I've built this little box with this board:

and this case

(Bought around the same time I got the 2nd 1TB disk for WDL1)
It was a bit of a tight fit getting everything in there, along with a dvd drive (I'll probably upgrade to bluray once the price comes down), but it works great, streaming netflix, hulu and my local stations with a tv input card.
That all said, I also managed to reclaim my desktop. I bought two 2GB sticks of RAM, one of them for the atom box, one of them for this. ONce my RMA comes back I'll have a total of 4.5GB in here.
Also got a new keyboard (Natural Keyboard 4000) that i'm typing on now, but will probably bring to work Wednesday.
Sooooo, I'm broke for a while! Whoo!

Fusion would've been so much better for a HTPC, and cheaper:

I also bought this at tiger's retail stores, so, I really was going with what they had in stock as well.
Provided you feed it enough RAM they're pretty capable boxes. Name me a benchmarking tool and I'll run it.

Just for fun.
