OS/2 Installation and Use

edited August 2011 in Software
OS/2 can be difficult to install, because of the fact that you would originally need floppy disks. I may have a solution:
Download the OS/2 Warp 4 CD, and burn all the images to a CD.

Does it work? I don't know (yet).

I will test this out, don't worry.

  • I'm pretty sure it'll work. IIRC, it uses those disk1.dat or whatever files to identify the disks, so long as they're still there and all the other files it should work.

Although I haven't played with OS/2 in about 7 years so don't quote me on that.
  • i have OS/2 2.0 floppies i got from the hackerspace and OS/2 Warp CDS i got from a girlfriend but never used OS/2 but i like to collect OS on orginal media
