  • You know what's infuriating about that website already?

Not in all languages... I didn't think of it that way though.
  • In the languages Microsoft wants you to use, it is.

Such as...a language that was used in programming Vista, which takes up your whole hard drive. You can't install any programs, and it also keeps crashing.

  • Tell me how the language something is coded in has anything to do with how big the program is? If anything that would be more on the side of the compiler, not on the language. And even then, it's probably not going to have much of an influence. Seriously, if you don't know what you're talking about, do us all a favour and be quiet. -.-

This, if it really was the problem, would be result of inefficient programming resulting in poor utilization of disk space. But definitely not the programming language's fault.

What I really think is the problem is that you are upset because Vista doesn't play nice on your 20gb Maxtor Fireball running in your Celeron POS from 1999.
  • Vista doesn't play nice on anything.. but you have to give it a break, Windows XP is fine, and so is Windows 7. You have to take the good with the bad. Windows XP is great, Vista is horrible, 7 is wonderful. :3
  • Vista is fine enough once updated and configured, still seems a bit slow but really gives me the same feel as ME did.

But I hated ME at the time for the system restore which used to slow it down to a crawl. But my friends and I were using P1's and P2's if you had a P3 or even a new Athlon XP at the 1Ghz range you were lucky.

Although I wish MS would make another Service Pack for Vista for all the updates released since Service Pack 2. Surely there are others who want one as well as me?
  • 7 is better than Vista, no denying that. But Vista really wasn't all that bad. If you tweaked it a bit, it ran just fine.

For the first time in quite a while, the successor is also wonderful. 9 is also...
  • 8 is not wonderful, but it's also not horrible or at all as bad as people like to say. So quick they are to forget that they once felt the same way about XP.

    Fact.

Really, Windows 7 was the first release that made me say "Wow, this is really decent. They did a good job."
