Installing old OS using VirtualBox

I'm new to the whole VM thing, and I'm not that skilled in it. Is it possible to install one of the old OS (like windows 3.11) on virtual box? How would I go about doing that?

If this has been discussed before, links to old threads would be appreciated so you don't have to rehash everything.

It covers MS-DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.1 and getting sound and better video quality etc. Hopefully that helps you. I've got links to the drivers but DOS and Windows can be sourced here obviously.
