After Turbo C, Turbo C++ was Borland's home and entry level offering for a C/C++ compiler for MS-DOS and Windows. For a time, it was sold along side their professional Borland C++ product line.

  • When opening it you will find that BWCC.DLL will be missing. Its best you find that dll online and copy it to the "windows\system" folder (Windows 3.1) in your virtual machine. Hope this helps!

    Take a look on archive.org, where "Borland BWCC.DLL" includes both the .dll file, and the header file - some developers will appreciate that.

  • FYI, this version (i.e. "Borland Turbo CPP 4.5 for Windows"), has the Windows API OLE help file only contain a notice that the actual OLE help is not included in the online documentation. If you need it you'll have to get it from Windows 3.x SDK.
