OFFER!!!... Caligari trueSpace 7.51 With V-Ray Win32 - Last 'Scene Release' Before Freedom>>>

Seems like when many a program is bought out then released as free somebody has taken a 'POOP' in the code... Might be what is wrong with tS 7.61 I certainly know the compilation crammed with as many plugs as possible is unstable as hell plus how do you learn it when it's so different from the original tutorial videos?

This is the last scene release before it went free, much more stable than the later 7.6s plus you install, then run the V-Ray installer into same directory then V-Ray integration is DONE!!... It even then thusly defaults to V-Ray rendering...

Then if you wish you can install your OWN chosen plugs not everything out there like a mindless baboon... That way if one ends up makin' it unstable you can remove it and wait for it...LEARN!

This also includes PDFs installer so good to go if you need video tuts you can get them from Cellulo's site-

You could alternatively download the big pig version install it then cherry pick out plugins & resources if you got 1.2 GB HDD space to spare...

  • OK, cool... Found & reuploaded...

After install then VRay install will set everything up & make VRay the default renderer...

  • Wow! thanks so much!
I was rewatching the tutorial videos for 7.6 and yes, it just works!
    1) Dragged and dropped model.
    2) Created a quick skeleton and fixed up the bone envelopes.
    3) Use dynamic pose to create animations

    Here's another key

  • Sure thing... Too bad sabots were dropped into the machine for 7.61 as it was surely 'rigged to fail' before handing out... boy, they sure put alotta work into 7.61 at united... Only seems to make it more unstable, that GB monster at flat2d terrible lagging...

It might be more unstable but at least there's a support forum and a developer to fix issues.
Which for software that was abandoned nearly 20 years ago is pretty good.

My only criticism is that none of it is noob friendly, the 7.5 based docs/videos are confusing for 7.61 and the unofficial updates add a another layer of friction to that.
    That was my experience anyway.

If I get familiar enough with 7.5 than I'm sure 7.61/updates would make more sense and usable.

I noticed the exporting of collada files to be buggy in 7.51 so standalone workspace will come in handy for exports.
  • Would be nice if they weren't so anal about not sharing ALL old versions, they get asked all the time... Seems like the largest 2nd choice on there is blender which says alot... I have read on some blender experts that would like come back from a vacation of 2 weeks & it took them many days of blender to get back up to speed... Well...SUPER!, you gotta still use it on the toilet, in the shower, on vacation, at the restaurant, etc, etc or your skills plummet!... Seems like another 'distraction' for the masses if you ask me, another 'psyop'...

I find Albatross3D 2012 better than tS 7.61in many areas with a bit better stability, better modeling, easier integration with other render engines...
