Network cable too short...

My network cable is 2.5 ft too short and I don't have one of those connector things. :crybaby:

I feel defeated.

  • If you have some wiring skills you can take a 3FT cable and cut off one of the ends and also cut off the end on the long cable and twist the wires to gether then tape it or even better sodier the wire together and then tape it.
  • hmmm, this reminds me of that time when i took a network cable and made it a few more feet long... I used 2 phone cables then taped both cables together every 3 inches.

    The only thing is, I didnt use sodier, I just electrical taped the ends.

    BTW I took off those things that connect into the wall/phone on that
