Back on topic. What I meant by that post is that KDE uses Konqueror as its browser and shell. Both integrated. Just like IE.
No one forces you to use it. As long as I don't use IE, it doesn't affect me for the most part. Anything else, and it just requires a quick visit to WU.
That's still not a good excuse for the myriads of security holes, many of which make use of the integration.

*All* software has security holes. I could use that very same argument for basically any *nix software, as well as Windows.
Saying that any piece software doesn't have security holes is like saying that all starfish will have 5 legs. It simply cannot be proven.
Look, the point is that you cannot say that all software is totally secure because a new hole can always be found in it. No matter how good you think it is.
