  • Return it to where you bought it. Or maybe they won't accept it cause it's OCd. Try.
  • nooo, i had changed the clock back to 200Mhz, and .. lemme just tell the story

I first OCed, but then i put it back to normal. I turned it on XMas eve, windows XP blue screened me at the boot screen. I then leave it alone, and didnt touch it for a long while. I reset BIOS, then try again with Win XP, same. SO then yesterday morning i get this beep thing. I reseated the RAM, resteaed the video card, no luck.
  • That's no good. Seems like your fucked. :(
  • ok, it may be my video card, nothing would display on my monitor.

    THIS FU**ING SUCKS!
  • when my CPU went it didnt bleep, maby the ram or the video

BOD you are the coolest!!! It works, i just reseated the RAM, and everything works!!!

Now to fix windows XP's urge to crash upon startup (after the boot screen logo)
  • Reformat and reinstall - the easy way.
  • It's also the nub way.
  • But usually also the professional way.
  • and inconvient, if you can fix it with a bit of work, why bother reinstalling?
  • sometimes a repair install of windows XP does good...
  • Sometimes. But most of the time you can fix it.

Learn, think, THEN post. You're completely leaving out the first two, you dolt. Fuck off and die, or at least never come back here until you quit being a n00b.
Tom, I like that your post. It's probably your best.
  • When did he post that?
  • @ the end of pg 1
  • I don't like Toms attitude, but I have to say posting drunk is asking for it, as others around here have learned.

  • Can I overclock my Duron 900? What about my P2 233MMX?
  • not sure about the PII

    duron probably
  • Would it be in the bios or do I have to go to somewhere like computing.net *gasp*
  • The Duron has a locked multiplyer so you need to jack up the FSB.

I'm guessing Pentium II's have the multiplyer locked like other Intels also. You will need to do the same.
