    it was jerky and i ran into something before i even noticed because it was chug chug chug. i enjoy screwing around with *xes but they need to redesign or finish developing everything before they can get people to port games to linux.

    Maybe there were some very very early versions of it made for Linux platform... because I heard they had some issues when moving it to Win32 platform...
    EDIT: Oh maybe I am mixing Q3 with something else...

    Probably. However, there *was* a Linux version of Q3Test. Same for Mac (which actually came out before Windows Q3Test).

    Oh. I see. Not that it matters because I do not need to spend 3000 so I can see oh my ePenis is teh six footer because I have a bigger monitor. That's retarded. I'd never spend more than a grand on a monitor.

    I'll prbly get a 17" LCD next holiday, but I'm not sure. Maybe it's better to wait longer. Dual monitors probably would be cool.... I tried it once but was using a crappy monitor.

    2048x1536 won't be enough for 30" screen. can't pretend how 800x600 will look like on it...

    Does that thing have a standard (S)VGA adapter or is it something different?

    I guess something special, cause the maximum for SVGA is 2048x1536
    And native resolutions... I always set it higher than that. For example what is native for 17"?
    I have 1400x1050

    usually 1024x768 i think

    I think that too but when I switch to 1024x768, i wanna turn that all hell down or to switch back at least. That's sooo fucken HUUGE!!!
