Which is better?
I'm thinking about getting a GF4 to replace my 7000 for my DUron. If there's a BIG diff between the two.............. I'll get one.

Still, the 5900 is probably the most powerful card you can get without going for 6x00 or ATI X800. BTW, ATI tends to have crap OpenGL drivers.

I've seriously got to get a new card, right now I'm stuck on a Geforce4 MX 440-SE 64 MB AGP 4x.

But I want something DECENT, but I have to wait until I can afford it (after my new hard drive, RAM etc).

don't bother with a radeon 7000, they are more of a pain then they are worth. I broght one thinking it would be ok when i tried it in my system. It lagged on Jedi Outcast and looked worst then my aging 16mb Vanta card. Go for the geforce 4 mx, heaps better.

Hmm. I saw a radeon 7000 play doom 3 once. The textures looked like they were in 16-bit color even though the game and desktop were set for 32-bit.

I tried playing Doom 3 on my 7000... I Its not a pretty sight. :(
