I dunno Thump... For that moment, I thought Q was thinking the same thing I was... UglynGrey seems like TCPMeta to me. Hehe.
  • Well I hope we'll see RN, I've been wondering about UglynGrey,
he's so knowledgeable. I was wondering if I was still the oldest
one here, don't know what the Grey is referring to.

  • I doubt TCP would go anywhere near Xp, let alone Vista.
  • Mac Mini Core Solo
    1.5GHz
    1.25GB Ram
    60GB HD
    Combo drive

    iBook G3
    600MHz PowerPC G3

    CD/RW

    iBook G3 (Clamshell)
    300MHz PowerPC G3
    128MB Ram
    6GB HD
    CD-Rom
  • UglynGrey has a computer a bit... seems fake.
  • Here are a few others I have laying around the house that are not currently in any working order:

Hp Pavilion (currently sitting in a few pieces inside a cardboard box; this was my main computer for five years)
    • Pentium III, 533 MHz
    • 64 MB RAM
    • 30 GB Hard Drive
    • CD-RW *
    • CD-ROM *
    • Floppy drive *
    • Windows 98 SE
starred components are currently in another computer

    HP Pavilion

    • 32 MB RAM
    • 2.5 GB hard drive
    • CD-ROM drive
    • Floppy drive
    • Windows 95 OSR 2

Really old computer (from the 1980s, I think; I don't know much about this computer)
    • 12 MHz processor
    • ? MB RAM
    • ? MB Hard Drive
    • 3.5" Floppy drive
    • 5.25" Floppy drive
    • MS-DOS (version ?)
  • Nah, he said he wasn't a gamer which TCP is.

And TCP usually had XP and Linux running but I don't think he used SuSE. He used FC then Ubuntu and a few others although SuSE isn't a bad distro. Quite bloated but what distro isn't.
  • Well, I have other PCs, but Alis, the only one I use, is rather meager, but perfectly suitable for me (read: good but still cheap)

    Processor: 3.46GHz Celeron D with 512K L2 cache
    RAM: 1GB DDR2 577
    Graphics: ATI Radeon 9250
    Boot HDD: 40 GB IDE
    HDD2: 120 GB IDE
    Optical Drive: CD-ROM/RW/R/DVD-ROM/-R/+R/RAM read/write
Installed OS: Windows XP Professional Build 2600, single boot

    Did I forget anything?
  • No, not TCP... someone who I'm pretty sure has never been on the board.

    -Q
  • I just thought it was TCP from the 4gb, Tyan server...
  • While it would be interesting to see him again, I don't think I or the board would appreciate it.
