Ughh, sidescrolling windows are bad enough, I can't image scrolling the desktop!
Anyway, you may wish to update to Ffx 2 or 1.5, either is significantly better then 1 in many ways. If not those, I suggest updating to 1.0.8 for pure security fixes.
I had it on 1600x1200 while typing that. The Windows streched to fit the screen-bigger than the actual laptop screen, I had to scroll up, down and sideways to view any IE5 window. I got ffx 1.0 on just because I was bored after installing 84 applications (literally) on my 18GB HDD.
What is ffx? Final Fantasy X? Anyway does that computer handle 2000 properly? The specs look good enough to just make it to run xp imo.
It does, and still runs ok when Virtual Pc 2004 is in use with NT 3.51! I don't like XP that much as I don't like the GUI, or the icons in Classic and XP themes. Also, 2000 is more reliable, I have used both before ka0sb or someone starts off an argument similar to a recent one.

PS. MasteroftheWind: Why not 3.11 on the laptop?
When I Install Windows 3.11 on the Notebook after it was finished Installing the Trackball and the keyboard don`t work maybe Windows think they are Logitech I have installed the Mousedriver from Logitech ( I used a External Com mouse for that ) after reboot and go to Windows the keyboard work but not the Trackball.
BTW, Public Service Announcement, the "`" key isn't normally used for apostrophes in English. If you're not comfortable with "'" it's OK, but you may want to know what.

Thanks for the PSA, Q. It gets very annoying when people use that character in place of an apostrophe.
Once you're developed, that's true as ideally the stability shouldn't be compromized by future releases. However, when you're still developing the basic parts of the system, future, more developed versions should be better worked out, more corrected, etc. the previous ones.

XP was 5.1...
-Q
To sum it up,
NT 5.0 = Windows 2000
NT 5.1 = Windows XP
NT 5.2 = Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x64
NT 6.0 = Windows Vista
Wikipedia explains it all, including the NT version numbers and Build numbers.
Obviously... yea.
