    Full instructions here:

Though you may find it easier installing in 86Box.
  • Some of you say you managed to install it in VirtualBox, which SCSI adapter did you use? I tried BusLogic and LsiLogic but the boot system does not find the adapter
  • So, does anyone find the way to attempt to configure the network? I failed countless times in network configure when using a method similar to NeXTSTEP series.
  • I can confirm Apple Rhapsody DR1 & DR2 x86-32 will run in VirtualBox 7.2.12, Windows 11 Home, AMD-A8 processor. I think the trick is the way you configure the VM, plus what SCSI Drivers you select during Rhapsody installation. For example, I created a VM using the MacOS X template, but switched it down to 32-bit.
    Other settings include...
    64 MB base memory.
    PIIX3 chipset.
    2 processors.
Paravirtualization is in Hyper-V mode, but Minimal works also.
    16 MB video memory.
    Standard VBoxVGA graphics controller.
    - Storage Controllers -
Standard Floppy controller must be added, then add a drive for the boot disk.
!!! Remove the default SATA controller !!!
Add a BusLogic SCSI controller, then add your master HD for Port 0, then add an Optical Drive for Port 1.
You will have to reload the media for the HD VDI, of course, don't forget.
(All other VM settings are your choice.)

During the Initial Setup where you select SCSI Drivers from the Drivers Disk, Type 7 to the next page, then choose option 3 for the BusLogic PCI SCSI Adapter, which is the first one that actually worked properly for me.
(NOTE: For DR1 you have to choose the same SCSI Driver twice. For DR2 you only have to choose it once.)

As far as Networking goes. I don't know. I actually have that feature disabled on ALL of my VM's, because I never use it. I'm a bit paranoid like that, lol.
The rest is all on you. Have fun exploring Apple Rhapsody x86!
